Thanks, Steve! Last summer they drained that specific area to allow for new plant life etc. to be stunted again. It worked out real nice. There is so many species of birds I lost count. lol

steve-o and josh b great pictures.

Josh just wondering how your farm held up? I have an aunt & uncle that live just outside of baraboo and I am wondering how bad it is for them in that area. they live on a side road just off of 33 near the rest stop area by a small bridge and river. Just wondering if you have any insite since you had some pictures near baraboo. thanks Jen

Jen, Our farm in Columbus was nailed by the Crawfish. Our place in Portage is alright. We have no flooding here thank god. I will say this the people outside Portage have not been spared what-so-ever. Our backroads are full of out of state license plates. Now mind the backroads around here see maybe 15-20 cars a day if that. Right now there is swaths of vehicles driving past wondering how to get to I-39 etc. It's a huge mess.

OH -- i know.... i hear the TOP priority of the governor is to get that lake back in shape... with roughly ONE BILLION DOLLARS [in my worst Mike Myers imitation] in revenue for the state.... you betcha it'll be back to normal sooner than later.
