Steve-o,
I know you are in the Chicago area, but have noticed your postings on the Arizona forum. Are you from Arizona? I was born in Oak Park, Ill, but moved to Phoenix in '69 with ma & pa. Hopefully before the end of the year will be relocating to the northwoods of Wisconsin for good.
Just wondering.

And Josh, keep the photos coming. Great to see a young man take such pride in his home town. Good on ya! (As my dad used to say)

Thanks again for great pictures guys! Love those sunsets, rainbows and seeing the Wisconsin countryside!

As soon as my family party is over (4th of July) I'm going to do some exploring, see places I haven't been yet! Pictures sure give me the incentive to do it!

Not to get too off-topic here, but no, Im not from AZ. I have family there and go to AZ a lot, thats about it. Ive been going less and less in recent years as most of my family who moved down there have moved back. lol Only my FIL, MIL and BIL remain, all the others have moved back. When I used to go down there I had to make rounds in a few different towns to visit, now I can visit them all under one roof, which is nice!

Youre very lucky to live in the Northwoods, its so peaceful and strange up there, I love it! Id love to have a cabin somewhere up near Minocqua someday.

Some pictures of the Lodi Valley here in Columbia County. Then there is some pictures of bluffs at Devils Lake in Sauk County. All pictures were taken last night Wednesday June 26.

Now to the outskirts of Devils Lake. The park itself has been closed due to flooding and damage done to the trails because of the heavy rains. It opened today @ 6:00 A.M.

Steve-o, the Lodi Valley is just NW of the city of Lodi. The city of Lodi is in Columbia county. It is about 20 minutes NE of Sauk City. Or 25 minutes NW of Madison.

Thanks for the photo comments.

Josh, your pictures are great. My husband directs everyone interested in relocating to WI to this forum and I always tell them to check out the pictures. WI is indeed a beautiful state. I love all the different terrains. From the rolling hills, to the pine forests, to the lakes, WI is an awe inspiring state. We are proud to call it home.
It is truly beautiful. And even though I live in Illinois, I'm proud and luckty to have Wisconsin right there to enjoy.

When I have lived outside the midwest I always bragged about how great Wisconsin is.

That's good you have pride in where you live. Not everyone does.

I seen the beautiful sunset and jumped in the car with the camera and came back with these.
