I just love these pics all of you are posting! Wisconsin is sure a beautiful place, it's too bad I was so young that I really couldn't appreciate it all the well...

Keep em coming!
This place doesn't offer train rides, I'm not sure they ever did. Now that you mention train rides could it have been North Freedom, WI? That place is famous... Wisconsin sure is beautiful, every time I go out and take pictures I'm reminded how truly blessed I'm to live on this beautiful earth. There is nothing like the great outdoors of Wisconsin. Where did you move to?

Hi, Josh, I love your Wisconsin pics. The old logging road, Lake George and downtown Rhinelander are beautiful shots! What a beautiful state Wisconsin is.

Keep 'em coming!

Could it have been the museum in Green Bay? Not sure how long it's been around, but I do know they give train rides there too.

I wish I knew where it was that we went, I know the car ride seemed like it took forever...but then I was little too. My grandparents lived in Bloomer for a number of years and had a family farm. That was so many years ago...but we couldn't wait for summer to come. My family lived in Minneapolis, now I'm in Indianapolis (the land of the perpetual farmfield) after having lived in Phoenix for many years.

The photos are just beautiful. I can still remember how the air felt when you would take a deep breath!

I can't say for sure but it didn't seem like it was a big town at all. This was like 35 years ago....

Everwinter, Awesome photos! Thanks for sharing.

bum fugly, I'm really not sure where the museum is your talking about then. We went through Bloomer, WI when we went up north. It looked like the perfect little town. Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

All you photographers on here, how do you get such clear/nice pictures? Seriously, I am in the market for a new camera and would love to know what you are using. I mean, the clarity...it feels like I can read out and touch the blades of grass or feel the water in my hand, they are awesome!
