You should contact the DNR and ask them about your situation with the waterlillies...
Also, My computer isn't letting me upload my pictures so it may be a few days before I can get this bugger figured out.

Well I finally got the camera and computer to get along... Here is some pictures from the last few days...
This is the lake at the famous John Muir boyhood home
The drive to the old house
Some nice coniferous forest in Marquette county, by the way Marquette county is about 5 miles north of Portage.
Nice log cabin
Old country roads
This is more in my neck of the woods(Portage)
There is a huge wetland preserve outside of town by the name of Aldo Leopold. Beautiful area!
Sandhill crane
This was my favorite picture of this set.
