A friend of mine keeps inviting me to the Pow-wows he goes to, something always comes up, but next one I will definitely make an effort to attend.

Something to be seen for sure. Years ago before the Dells got totally commercialized I used to love the Stand Rock Indian Ceremonial, it was very impressive.

I'm talking well over 30 years ago, I used to chaperone church youth groups and we did an exchange with a Dells area church several times. Our kids got to see smaller towns and their kids got to see Chicago. The highlight for our group was the ceremonial.

It's been a few days since I was out and about taking some pictures so I finally have a small batch for all of you.









This hill is owned by a local company that uses the sand to make glass. They even make the glass for the space shuttles of Nasa. Pretty cool, eh? I hate to see this hill taken right off the land though.
