I sure did, Susan! I'd recommend fall as the best time since bugs are almost non-existant and the temps are just perfect.

Thanks, dookieboy! My camera is like my shadow. Wherever I go it's usually in hand. I hope you enjoy the fall in the SW as well. I'm sure there is some nice cool temps heading your way.
everwinter, It's only $8.00 a day for out of state. The folks in the u.p. have great hospitality as well! I would be proud to call my self a yooper.

Beautiful Sunflower! I'll be sure to post some shots of the desert cottonwoods when they start to turn "brown" sometime around mid January. What a joke! (I'm in Phoenix)
As I just said to Josh, if I can't be there in person to see the color show, at least I can view it through the eyes of anothers camera!
