Thanks Susan. That one actually caught me by suprise. I was just trying to get a close-up of it and it took off. Here is another picture that I just took about 1/2 hour ago. By this bank by my house we have a big pond that the Geese use for one of their resting grounds.

hankejp ... I love my 70-300 lens. I use it all the time. It was great when I worked in the newspaper field.
