Default First snow of the season!

Well I was awakened this morning by a new beautiful landscape. I had to go for a ride before I went to work. I only made it a mile out of town because the roads were very icy and curvy. It was perfect!

Awesome photos! We got 2 or 3 inches of snow last night and I was once again wishing I had a digital camera, trees right in my neighborhood were gorgeous!

Josh, your pics are amazing! I love the shots of the old barn, Baraboo Hills and Crooked Lake. When I look at your snow pictures (#'s 2 and 3 are my favorites), the lyrics of "Walkin' in a winter wonderland..." popped into my head!

Hi, susancruzs, one of these days you'll have to get a digital camera so that you could include some beautiful shots of Wisconsin!

I love the pictures in this forum. Wisconsin is such a beautiful state.

Wisconsin is great, but Illinois has some beautiful spots, too! I check out the Illinois forum, too as I moved from Waukegan to Two Rivers last fall!

I do need to get a camera so I can post shots of the lake, Point Beach State Forest, Maribel caves, Woodland Dunes has a HUGE cottonwood tree that is cool, a great prairie area plus marshes, my opportunities would be endless, I just need to do it!

I agree, and I love parts of both states!

When you get your digital camera, I would love to see shots of those places or anything in nature. That cottonwood does sound really cool. Hope that you get that camera soon!

Thanks, Steven and Susan!
We were in a thin band of the storm that got close to 3.5" of snow last night.
