haha, I was going to take a picture of the moon and then do a 180 and do the sunset, but it was supper time and I was hungry.  |

And a couple from this morning....... the fog?? Is the ice warmer than the air? I can understand fog over the water, but fog over the frozen areas of the lake kinda stumped me.

Sweet pictures. Yeah fog over ice???? That's a new one.
On a side note, I have been given the "green light" from the boss to get my new camera. I'll be ordering it on Friday. I can't wait. Double the megapixels.  I'll be able to blow up my images to who knows how big. |

Which camera are you getting?
If you get it on line, beware of SonicCameras and CloseOut Genius (slrgenius.com). I order my lens from soniccamera.com, great deal, but they gave me the run around that the lens didn't work well with my camera, they would me a $139 lens for $399, but I insisted on ordering the canon lens. A couple of days later they sent me an email that it would be six to eight weeks before the Canon lens would be back in stock. SLRGenius pulled the same thing, they claimed they had too many returns on that lens but they would sell me the same $139 lens SonicCamera pushed, for only $480, guaranteed to work so much better with my Canon.
Oh, then when I told CloseOut Genius to cancel the order they wanted to charge a $50 cancellation fee!
I finally got the lens from BHphotovideo.com, no confirmation call, no pushy salesman trying to sell you something extra.
I've got good deals at Abe's of Maine and a couple of other online camera shops but they all call me for confirmation and try to sell me overpriced accessories.
