I saw these ducks this morning, a new addition to my life list, Buffleheads.
I think they are kinda rare in this area, these group was probably just passing thru.

I've never seen those before, cool! I have a Mallard sitting on eggs on the SE corner of my house, behind a tall evergreen. She was here last year, too, smart place, can't see her, protected, hidden and dry.

Thanks Susan and Josh!
I've been trying to get pictures of some ducks, any ducks, but the ones on the lake are really skittish. You get within a hundred feet of them, even tho they are in the water and ZOOM! they are gone!
I was surprised I was able to get a little closer to these ones.

I saw a buffle head too the other day. I thought it was a mandarin duck that someone let loose in the area until I asked someone. It was a crappy picture as it was too far away.
I'll have to go back and see if it still around. Prety neat looking though.
Thanks everyone.

I'm going to go over to Woodland Dunes and see if they have seen those. They are too cute!
