I have a friend who is coming to check it out to be close to a loved one,she has never been there and I know nothing of the area at all,any opinions from the locals and those in the area?

dad was born & raised there...grandma lived there till she passed away ...(Dont take this the wrong way BUT) if you dont mind living in a small town this is the place for you...nice area...close to Green Bay and Milwaukee

It is pronounced "trivers" and I bowled there once. Seems nice enough.

Small towns in Wisconsin are great once you accept the fact that they are quiet, you need to shop on-line, and making beer is a great pasttime.

We have coyotes and bears and lots of singing birds and deer and rabbits, and people are generally nice. Everyplace has grumps.

Default I could think of about 20 better places to live in wisconsin

two rivers ain't bad..but not the cream of the crop if you know what I mean
