Trying to derail another thread with vague, passive-agreesive racial remarks, I see...

I was referring to Milwaukee, which is roughly 90 minutes from Green Bay.

I don't think Milwaukee has a "soul club" per se, but a lots of venues have soul or jazz nights, so it would depend on what night you're there. Timbuktu and The Jazz Estate have some of the better ones.

I thought this subject was about green bay, not milwaukee, and you live in milwaukee, not green bay?

Uhh, Milwaukee is the closest place that has what the OP was looking for (who, BTW, inquired further about what I initially wrote), how the hell is that off-topic?

Oh, and I'm in Green Bay as I'm posting this... my mother lives here. Now would you like a towel for that egg on your face?

Wow! GB just seems more like a city to retire. Where you like life in the slow lane? Or should I say takit easy? Unoike the main city life which is fast tho. And that's a small percent of blacks living there. But that's cool I guess. But what gets me is probably the weather. How could does it gets in the winter time?

Average lows in winter hover in the teens to single digits. I think it got below zero nearly 50 times this winter, but needless to say this has been a very unusual winter for most of the country.

I was up by there one weekend in January... woke up Monday morning, went out to start my car to head home, and to my surprise the thermometer on my dash read -21. It didn't really feel that cold though because the wind was dead calm. I guess I was most surprised because none of the TV or radio stations mentioned severe weather; I guess because it wasn't really that big of a deal or unexpected. Sure enough, it didn't even slow the place down; everyone was up and at 'em like it was any other weekday.
