That may be true is sports but this is politics. The Rebpulicans lost a THIRD of their seats that were up for recall. These were not "open" districts; but, Republican seats that flipped. Even with favorable redistricting they are going into a presidential year which always means higher Democratic turn out at the polls than in other elections. The Democrats task will be that much easier next election cycle.
The Republican majority in the Senate just went from 19-14 to 17-16. Yeah right, the Republicans "won" LOL!
There are two more recalls taking place on Tuesday. The party split could very easily become 19 to 14 again. Without the recalls there would be no Tea Party candidate having a chance to get into the state Senate. That speaks volume.
The liberals lost the SC race.
They lost last Nov.
They lost in the recalls.
They will also fail in the recall of Walker.
Liberals need to fess up that conservatism is taking over and we will get our country back on track by cutting spending and shrinking government.
Uh huh, the same way Reagan and Bush reduced spending and the size of government.
Bush was a spending drunken sailor and grow the government to a size that is unsustainable. Any REAL conservative understands that. Just because a person has a D or R behind their name doesn't mean they fit into the majority of that political group. Hell, Obama is a communist and has a D behind his name.
Ever see a dying cockroach - on it's back, legs twitching away? That thing will grab on to just about anything to try to right itself but never does....
Kinda' reminds me of the unions. They keep clawing for anything they can get to be relevant again but never quite make it. Each effort becomes more futile than the last.

Nope, still 17-16. The Democrats picked off a third of the Republican seats up for recall and Republicans were unable to pick off a single Democratic seat. LOL! LOL! LOL!

...the unions to spend millions of dollars to make sure Wirch survived and he just squeaked by. While he sits there able to do nothing for the remainder of his term, watching Walker save this great state, we will be working tirelessly toward the next election! How exciting will it be to have WI solid red in 2012!

I agree with the bolded part.
The rest of it is ironic because Obama has continued Bush's programs, wars etc. with the only exception being the very very moderate healthcare changes that haven't even gone into effect yet.
What's REALLY wierd is that just south of the border Rahm Emanuel is kicking the crap out of the Chicago unions to balance his budget and there is not much of a peep going on because the unions are so far in bed with the dems.
I would pose that the flare up in Wisconsin is MORE about the republicans taking seats etc. than it is about any impact to the unions. The union leadership and thier political ties care more about that than any actual impact to the rank and file. Besides, if there are cuts they will just cut the union members that don't raise enough money for the campaigns and aren't relatives to union brass or politicians.
