Default Dont know how good you got it

After 6 years in Ct. And the southern hudson valley thats my oppinion!

Maybe I was spoiled Growing up in the north shore and lining in appleton, janesville, hustisford, horicon, ft. atkinson and a few others?

Here the roads are small the traffic buisy it takes so long to get anywhere.

With travel it takes 12 hrs to do the work I did in 8 back in WI.

The weekend People from "the city" New York make the worst F.I.B. seem friendly

I remeber strangers being a little gaurded at times but I alwaise knew thet were "real"

Here Every one a asks "how you are'' and couldnt care less.

In a repair type buissieness I rarely was offered a tip after a job and seldom accepted it.

Here tipping is almost manditory and usualy given up front expecting "better treatment"

Taxes here make Wi. seem cheap (Ct has a property tax on your car)

I just wonder how much work there is back in wi? it seems you cant trust the news anywhere.

At 42 I plan on working for at least another 20 (hopefully) .

I just moved to CT from WI about 3 months ago. People here are not as kind compared to WI. It has been explained to me that people are just "more direct" and not to take it personally. I live in WI for 10 years and grew up in IL. Connecticut has already started to grow on me and I really enjoy the diversity here compared to Wisconsin.

Property taxes.....ouch! Real estate prices even more painful! There is good and bad no matter what state you live in. Just make the best of it.
