Good luck to you too !
We're moving from Nevada... but we're originally from Minnesota so there will be no surprises as far as weather goes. As much as I never thought I would, I really miss the winters we had there. It's a lot to get used to though if you're coming from Cali... you can't even fathom how cold -20 degrees is until you experience it for yourself. lol

Wow Nevada to Ashland, what a difference! Even moving from southern Wisconsin to Ashland would be a major adjustment.

I am very happy that minus 20 is a rare occurance in Milwaukee. I'll never forget February 1996 when we hit -26. Simple things like getting gas become an adventure. My poor car made sounds I didn't know it could make .

Yeah, it's a huge adjustment - but we're going home so we're pretty excited.

Once in Minnesota when we lived there I don't recall the exact temperature on this day but with the windchill it was -70 degrees. They said you could go outside with a pot of boiling water, toss the water in the air, and it would freeze before it hit the ground. We tried. It did. It was pretty incredible. lol
