Doesn't a drink and an appetizer sitting on the deck of the Thirsty Whale in Minocqua sound good right now? I'll meet ya there! Wish I was in the northwoods too!

My preferred spot is Bonnie's Lakeside in Three Lakes, but I'll gladly take either. Or better yet, the flagship Famous Dave's on the outskirts of Hayward.

Too hot! It feels like 101 degrees to me. I finally made it to Sun Prairie, and I'm trying to look at property, but my car a/c isn't keeping up with the heat, and I have to keep going back to my motel room to change my shirt. ):

I'm used to Ohio summers being brutal, but this is awful!

So many soft people around here.......it has been around 16 years since it has been 100 degrees. Starting tomorrow those temps will be gone. It could be over a decade again before they return

Took a ride over to Lake Michigan today. Cooler by the lake but not if I just sat on the beach.

Subzero temperatures with no wind are far better than 100 degree temperatures with humidity.

I'm down in the Atlanta area and we got 100 degree weather. I absolutely hated it. I would be going to Wisconsin to get away from a Hotlanta summer. Ironic, but not surprising. Chicago got the big heatwave in 1995. I remember because I watched it on The Weather Channel. It wouldn't surprise me to see this in Milwaukee. 90 minutes away isn't that far.

i find it weird that back home in WI 100 degrees and it's a heat warning; we hit 109 twice last week here and i only recall seeing we were under an advisory so must have something to do with what the normal average is and how far over that the heat wave is. Of course on the flip side, here during "winter" they'll talk about a frigid blast of air, maybe lows hitting the teens. That's above zero lol.
