It is TOO cold for werewolves in Wisconsin. As far as changing shapes/forms-sure --why not. A couple beers too many and anyone can be Superman.

We do have Timber rattlers near the Mississippi River. Not much to be scared about here. I think the bears up north are cool when you see them. We saw 3 cubs and Momma bear while we were driving up north to Hayward. As for snow driving it should be pretty easy because we haven't had much the last couple of years. Ok there was that weekend last winter where we got 25 inches but that is pretty rare.

You hit it on the head. That's about the scariest thing in WI.
Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Wisconsin account for about 90% of all cases of Lyme disease.
Camping is great--the ticks suck.

Northern Wisconsin
Oh ya, you have to watch out for those primitive waysides alongside the road when you drive through Northern Wisconsin. In most other parts of the country they are refered to as rest stops. I remember driving one time and seeing a sign displayed that indicated that we were approaching a primitive wayside. I believe this was in Marinette or Florence counties in far northern Wisconsin. Another thing that was striking was the LARGE concentrations of bars and taverns in rural Northern Wisconsin. You could be driving on a very rural road and see a tavern owt in the middle of nowhere! Other things that are common are abandoned woodshed buildings and old cabins that do not look like anyone has live there in 25+ years. However, the spectacular northwoods scenery and friendly people make up for everything I especially enjoyed Cooper Falls State Park, Lake Superior, and all the lakes that are in Vilas and Oneida counties!

What to be scared of in Wisconsin
Once you are outside of Milwaukee (cuz it still gets Chicago humans) ya need to be careful of those "that drink the water".... refer to some Jeff Foxworthy Red Neck photos... many are from Wisconsin.
Best part, lower crime than most of the country (outside of Milwaukee & Madison), many people can't find keys to their houses. Make sure you have proper attire for a wedding.... new blue jeans & a new T-shirt. Grew up in Chicago subs and like it here better. Slower pace, less crime. I live on a 600 acre ostrich farm, 15 miles from WalMart.
Just watch the red necks that drink the water... (lol)
