I never thought of that one.....driving slow in the left lane is a Wisconsin thing. Anywhere else you usually get shot for that in less than a minute. I also think that certain Wisconsinites love to drive the highway at night with their high beams on even while passing oncomming traffic. What about Musky fishing? I bet that is a northern US thing but I remember when I lived in Wisconsin everything was Musky this and Musky that. Oh, and I love the old timers drinking their Pabst Blue Ribbon, something I have rarely seen except for in Wisconsin. I am not sure if it is still like this but we used to joke around that every family in Wisconsin either owns a Chevy Corsica, or a Saturn. In most areas of Wisconsin people seem to stay away from high end cars but the pride of their life is their Buick, Chevy or Ford.

And another.....What is up with the 20 stoplights per intersection, all hangin on huge metal poles? Again, this maybe a northern US thing as I believe I have seen these in Minnesota as well, but in the southern US they all hang from wires. Seems to me they would be cheaper hanging from wires, saving tax dollars. Cars in Wisconsin are constantly plowing over stoplights in accidents, or in the winter after sliding on the snow/ice.

Heh, I even hit up a brewery last weekend called Muskie Capital Brewing Company. There was another one on the other side of town called Angry Minnow. Two breweries in a city of 2,200, both named after fish. That's Wisconsin for you.
Meanwhile, PBR is still pretty common throughout the upper Midwest. It is especially making a comeback in urban areas; it has become the (un)Official Beer of the New Urban Indie-Hipster crowd as their way of rebelling against the bourgeois trend of high-end microbeers. You can't throw a rock in Bucktown or Wicker Park in Chicago without hitting some dive bar full of "cooler than thou even as we diligently strive to make it look like that kind of thing doesn't matter to us" type folks drinking PBR out of cans. Bottles are too ostentatious, you see.

Those aren't stoplights. They're "stop-and-go lights."

1. Cheese Curds. Damn those are good, yet horribly bad for you!
2. Green Bay Packers. No where else will you find fans so dedicated to a team.
3. Spotted Cow. One of my favorite beers ever. Just Wisconsin.

1. Culver's. I love Culvers and cannot get it anywhere in Florida.
2. Leinenkugels. I can even get a little taste of Chippewa Falls in some Florida grocery stores.
3. Cheese Curds. Never the same unless they come from Wisconsin.
