Athens Village has a small park called Memorial Park near the center of town. It is between Caroline St. Muller St. and Wisconsin Highway 97 Across from the St. Anthonys church(307 Muller St.). There is a Tank dedicated to the Veterans from Athens, and a small ice skateing area. If you go to the Athens Village Web site and check out the village park pictures you can see a picture of the tank. During Aug. they have a Village Fair in that area.
I lived in Athens in the early 70s and have not been back. When I do go it will be during that fair.

Post Veterns Memorial Park
Veterns Memorial Park is close to Athelstane, WI (not Athens) in Marinette County. Turn west on County Highway W at Crivitz off of US 141 & go 12 miles to Parkway road, then north 3 miles.
