Being a first time home buyer will have nothing to do with property taxes. Property taxes will depend on the area and the homes value/property lot & size. From what I've seen on the southeastern side of WI (racine, kenosha) from the price range of 130-200k it flexes between 3k-6k. It's usually in the middle of that range though. Property taxes are pretty high in WI, but I'm from IL (and moving to WI soon) so I'm used to it!
