I was hoping to find some opinions (or "pointers") on the best areas to hike in WI. I have heard nothing but GREAT things about the entire state, but thought maybe some areas were "better" suited for hiking than others. ???
I will be spending a few days in the Central region (Chippewa Falls area) and could use some "wilderness"! THANX!!!!!! |

The Ice age trail is probably the most famous wisconsin trail. It's very pretty. Here's the link:
http://www.nps.gov/iatr/ I suggest the Taylor and Chippewa county parts of the trail. |
