My husband and I currently live in Colorado, and he has been offered a job that will take us to the New Holstein, WI area. I grew up in the area, so I'm excited about the possiblity about moving back and being near family. However, I am very nervous about lifestyle and educational opportunities for our son (7months). We are looking at the long-term big picture of school systems and recreational activities, and it seems like Plymouth might be the a great community for us based on my research. However, I'm really, really hesitant to have my husband commute from New Holstein to Plymouth every day - that will most likely be 35-40 min drive each way.

Does anyone have any experience living in New Holstein/Kiel? What about daycare centers, activities, lifestyle of the area? We are leaning towards Plymouth because childcare and education seems of a higher quality, but I haven't lived in the area for almost 15 years, so my perception is skewed and I would appreciate any insight!
