Have friends near Eagle River had a doe like first video,told me not to shoot her as they would at T zone in case meat bad. She had broke leg near shoulder got around good but when snow cam she had hard time so they put her down. The shoulder and leg was bad also had infection so best they did.


Way back had 3 legged fawn someone shot leg off back at knee.Worked in feed mill so deer fed good but the 3 legger was brave ate out of pail and got real good nutrition he would even walk in mill to eat. He was around all winter next fall he disappeared prolly as to tame easy kill.

Yes, that's the problem with feeding, they get used to being near humans and houses.

The last couple of years we have quit feeding during hunting season. We only feed from late November to early August. It doesn't take the long for them to quit coming around after the food is gone.

I only do in woods and everything gets it bear,deer,turkey,squirrels and small birds.
Now possibly a elk back there unless totally lost my mind.
