relocating to WI - never been there
Hi, my husband is thing of transfrerring to Steven's point and we are looking at home is the areas around there. Neither of us have been to wi and currently live in Iowa. We can live anywhere within an hour of stevens point and looking for a small town with a small but great school district. We have 3 daughter so a nice friedly famiy town would be great. If anyone has any thought please let us know. If this transfer goes through we will be there right after christmas. Also if you know of the newspaper website or anything that would be great, looking to rent before we buy anything to see how well we like it. Thank you

SPASH is the largest high school in the state. It is a good school. Most of the towns around Point are nice. Depends what size town you are looking for. We are about 20 minutes north of Point.

Be ready for very chilly winters! I have lived in WI my entire life and have enjoyed it thus far. The people are fairly nice and overall most schools are above US average. Summers and falls are amazing.
