I'm not sure what type of amenities you want, but if small town is okay with you, I'd suggest Pulaski. Great, progressive schools and a very nice and family oriented town. It's in a rural area, but only about 15 minutes to more shopping etc in the Howard and Ashwaubenon area. It's an shorter commute to Peshtigo since it's North of GB. Plenty of nice homes out that way with big yards at a reasonable price. You might be able to find a house to rent. Pulaski school district would be my first choice, but most areas in the suburbs have schools with good reputations. Good luck with your move and enjoy WI.

twotoneshoes,Milwaukee City thanks for reply. We are more of a big city fans that's why I think green bay may be our best bet in the northen east WI area. I found a couple of apartment communities there but not sure if they are the best or not any body knows about crystal lake apartments in 54311? I would much appreciate any inputs regarding apartments or houses for rent in Green bay with great schools .. my budget is up to $2000 per month.
Thanks

for renting, i'd check out the crime statistics and demographics for that area.
go to the apt complex and surrounding area and walk around during different times of the day/week.
talk to other renters in that complex.

For $2000, you might be able to find a nice house to rent if you'd like.

Never went to the church, but by progressive I mean, they are embracing technology and are open to meeting the academic needs of students by creating different programs that fit a student's ability. Most of the classes are equipped with ipads, smart boards and chrome books. My child went there for several years, and they're excellent at knowing their students, staying up to day with technology and using various teaching methods to help kids get the most of their education and competing in a global market. I would highly recommend the district.
so if the word progressive was a buzz word for you, sorry to disappoint. I wasn't talking politics, only a kids education.

Green Bay and Big City are antonyms, but I understand what you're saying. There should be some reviews online of apartments you're interested in. I'd stick with the suburbs if it were me. Most people shop/dine in suburbs like Ashwaubenon, Howard or DePere anyway. Good luck with your move and enjoy the area.

"schools that use technology and are open to meeting the academic needs of students"

just between you and me, do you know how silly and meaningless that sounds?
