MultiBrief: O’Hare regains busiest airport crown
I'm sorry, I didn't understand even a word of that...?

And that link only shows through the end of July? The busiest airport is still Atlanta, O'hare only came in fourth last year. I also have an actually reputable source to back it up...

The difference is whether you're measuring passenger volume or aircraft movements. O'Hare is projected to be tops in the latter, but not the former:

And the world's busiest airport is ... - CNN.com
Motherdearest The websight I posted said it all. Even Wikipedia⤵

Until 2005, O'Hare was the world's busiest airport in number of takeoffs and landings. Until 1998, O'Hare was the busiest airport in the world in number of passengers.
Mainly due to limits imposed on the airport by the federal government to reduce flight delays,Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport became the busiest by the former metric in 2005.

As of 2014, O'Hare is the busiest airport in the world by traffic movements,

The sixth busiest in the world by passenger traffic. In 2008, the airport had 881,566 aircraft operations, an average of 2,409 per day (64% scheduled commercial, 33% air taxi, 3% general aviation and 1% military).O'Hare is the fifth busiest airport in the world

AGAIN THERE ARE DIFFERING MEANS TO CALCULATE>>>> O'HARE BUSIEST BY TRAFFIC MOVÉMENTS IS NUMBER OF TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS......that is more planes.

Chicago's O'Hare is involved in a modernization plan that should increase the maximum number of operations from 2,700 to 3,800. -----So prospects are good

But in reality both O'Hare and Atlanta have experienced a drop in the number of flights and routes — the key being that Atlanta lost more than 5 percent of its flights, whereas O'Hare lost less than 1 percent.
O'Hare has managed to attract more international passengers

They will make a final calculation at years end?
Ole granddad is holding its own......YOU DO KNOW CHICAGO HAS 2 INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS.....MIDWAY IS STILL GOING STRONG FOR INDEPENDENT COMMUTER AIRLINES .
