interested in moving to Marshfield (Wausau, Mosinee: apartment, rentals, how much)

I am interested in possibly moving to Marshfield in the next six months. How much would a taxi ride cost approximately from the CWA airport in Mosinee?/Wausau? to Marshfield? Are there alot of apartment vacancies in Marshfield? What is the job market like in Marshfield? I would like to secure a job before moving to Marshfield if possible. I am open to what jobs to apply for. My main consideration would be to be able to support myself renting a one bedroom apartment and pay for living and car expenses. Does anyone know what the drive would be like from the east coast to Marshfield such as whether it would be easy to do or whether it would be better to hire a moving company to move my car and a few of my household belongings? Thanks.

What line of work do you do? There is manufacturing, service and of course MF clinic is a major employer. Housing should not be difficult to obtain. I live about 30 miles from there and there is plenty of rentals available. I am guessing a 1br would be available for around $400. A taxi from CWA would be probably $40 because it is about 35 miles.
