driving to Marshfield and public transportation
Is the drive from CWA airport to Marshfield difficult? How about when it is snowing? What is the public transportation system like in Marshfield. Thank you.

1) No, the drive is not difficult. It's 15 miles of straight, wide-open highways with very little traffic.
2) It can be difficult, however, if it's snowing and plows haven't had a chance to start clearing off yet. Most major arteries will be cleared off within a day of a major snowfall.
3) There is no public transportation in Marshfield. It's a very small city out in the middle of nowhere.

It is an easy ride. We live near CWA and shop in Marshfield often. Probably takes around 30 minutes.

How about driving at night? Is the turnoff to Marshfield clearly visible from the highway at night? Thanks for the replies.

It's not a "turnoff" so much as an intersection, and it should be clearly marked.

There is no turnoff. You can take Highway 153 from Mosinee and then you follow that to Stratford. Turn left on Highway 97 in Stratford and follow that to Marshfield. It is a 2 lane highway that goes right through town. So you will go right into Marshfield.
