So it turns out the state is facing a $2.2 billion deficit heading into the next budget cycle. I guess I'm confused, because Walker swore up and down we had a surplus? Didn't Act 10 fix everything yet?

He lied, no big surprise. He also refuses to answer whether he'll stay his full term. There is so much wrong with that person yet people turn a blind eye & vote for him. I'm curious as to the education level of those who voted for him. Truly, it can't be very high.

The Walker supporters are just glad that he "put those unions in their place." They literally do not care about anything else. Walker could probably be shown on video kicking a puppy to death, and those people would still vote for him.

Probably about the same education level as Walker. Which is low.

Yep, you guys have nailed it. Everyone that doesn't share your political values must be really, really stupid.

I'll borrow a tired phrase from your president: The Politics and Other Controversies Forum called, they want their narrow-minded and condescending LWNJs back. The threads just aren't quite repetitive and unproductive enough without you.

Lets see. If someones political values are to hurt workers, reduce education, increase debt, try to attract poor quality jobs and detract good paying, high quality jobs, and reduce environmental protections. Then yes, those people must be really, really stupid.

I have no idea what else one could call such "political values".

This program is said to have reduced the welfare rolls by nearly 90% and has since been modeled by other states and countries, including the Netherlands.

Unfortunately for me, the new welfare magnet in the midwest is Minnesota:
On Labor Day 2013, Welfare Pays More Than Minimum-Wage Work In 35 States - Forbes

Scott Walker is looking to restore the work requirements for TANF and food stamps which were waived by the Obama administration as part of the stimulus in 2009. He also wants to drug test welfare recipients.

I don't like drug testing in general, but if a company can force me to take a drug test to earn money and pay taxes to fund welfare, the guy who's getting my money can go pee in a cup too.
Drug testing for welfare has been debunked by states who have tried it. The tests actually cost more money than they saved, since a very small percentage of people who receive welfare do drugs. Not to mention, the rate of illegal drug usage was actually HIGHER in the general population than it was in the welfare population. So, I always wonder why a group who claims to be extremely anti-tax would want something that is clearly a waste of tax payers' money.

I only call it like I see it & it is literally a fact that conservatives place no value on education or higher education whatsoever. In fact, I see nothing but absolute disdain for people who are getting higher education. Cons like to call people who are educated "elitist". Cool, then bring on the elitism for me, I have no problem with that. Can you explain why cons stubbornly want to remain backwood hicks?

You mean you were brainwashed by ******* socialist professors???!!!

Funny, I never recall having many professors promote what I would consider liberal agendas at all. They laid out the different arguments from different angles and the premises/theories behind them and we dissected them ourselves.

Neither did I. I went to school for conservation, that's what I was taught. But wait! According to the cons, I wouldn't KNOW that I've been brainwashed by ******* socialist indoctrinating professors. Now what??
