does anyone know how i can access wisconsin building codes for plumbing and electric, etc on-line

Check the city websites in the town you where you are building. Most of the codes are assigned locally.

Looked and most goes by city code so like golfgal said look at city sites for info or call city building inspector to get codes.

I disagree, there is a state code that trumps local codes.

Typically a city can make a more strict code then the state but can't make it less strict so if the city code differs from the state code it would take precedence.

I need to know how many outlets i can put on a 12 gauge wire per junction box per wisconsin state code does anyone have any idea? I thought it was 8. Thanks
