rentals in door county
Planning to move to Door county in the spring/early summer. Does anyone have any information on who to contact to rent a house/townhouse. I would rather not rent an apartment because I have a dog.
Are there any rental agencies that you know about that can assist me with this?
Thanks in advance!

Also looking for rental in Door County
Hi,
Looking for apartment/house for rent, initially for a 6 month period but could be long term.
We are a business couple relocating from central WI.
Flexible on rent.
Non-Smokers
Have a small sleepy cat.
Would like privacy / quiet area.
mod cut
Thanks

Door County vacation rental
I am in need of some help. I have spent hours and hours online to find a house to rent for a week in the summer of '09.
The problem: We have 17 people (11 adults, 6 kids ages 6 and up) and we want to be in a lakefront house and we don't want to be way down in Sturgeon Bay since it will involve long drives to all the towns and activities. We also need air conditioning for an older woman in the group.
Please let me know if you have any sites or ideas.
Thanks

Personally I wouldn't rule out staying near Sturgeon Bay as driving to places from there is not that much of a problem. There is a resort near the state park that you could rent 2 places (they are close together) instead of finding a big rental (very hard to do I would think). They have bicycles available for your use to ride into the state park.
I've stayed at this place awhile ago and it was nice still gets good reviews on the travel websites. I think Sturgeon is a better bet then you can drive up and see stuff on the way, take different routes. I've always stayed near there, just my preference.
Others may have different ideas for you.

Tired of the commute
I'm not sure how much success Warrior1997 got, but, I've been commutting from the Fox Cities since January and haven't been able to find a rental in DC. I too have a dog, which seems to be the main hang-up for owners. I don't care if it's a short- or long-term lease. I just need something. Can anyone help?

When I was in DC a while back I found a back road into GB that followed the bay for a while. We stopped at bar and grill. I think it was called Binghamton's. He has 3-4 cabins lakeside that he rents. But if you want them next year, now IS the time to reserve as they are hugely popular.

Could you have been on Bayshore drive that goes into STURGEON BAY ? There is a "Birminghams" there that rents cabins.
