I don't know about you guys but I ready for some warmer weather. My family is getting a bad case of cabin fever. And the horses would like to strech their legs and get some space from each other.

I went out to check on my garden. Frost line is light. Only about 5-6 inches deep. Can't wait to start my peas and lettuce!

Peas, yum! I love gardening! Green beans are my specialty.

We have had around 45 inches of snow this winter. It really seemed to go further south. It is great today. I pulled back the plastic on my garden and added some compost. Can't wait to start playing in the dirt!

My whole backyard is on the north side of the house and garage, no sun. :-( I may put some tomatoes by my deck along this little privacy fence, it gets the west sun.

I am anxious though because previous owner had lots of flowers and plants that will come back so it should be fun to see what they are and what comes up!

Default birds!

Birds! I heard spring birds!!!! Then I walked up the snow drift to my roof to take off the Christmas lights that were finally free of ice. It was nice not needing a ladder... but it did feel kind of strange being able to walk up to the roof....

We did get snow in RI... but it generally melted between storms.... Will I be able to get the extension cords off the ground (they are embedded in ice and packed snow) before Easter???? We used to make fun of people who had their Christmas decorations up at Easter.... Oh... the shame....
