Tough question there are so many and for different reasons. Love Milwaukee when I want to go the city. So many good places to eat. Love the Trader Joe's there. Like going into Sendiks. Love the lake and the festivals.
Love Madison too. Again, great places to eat. Love going to Trader Joes and Penzeys.
We have enjoyed the night skyline and seeing the capitol.
So many smaller towns to love. New Glarus is so much fun. We went last fall and hit about 6 different cheese places. The country side around there is gorgeous. Rolling hills dotted with swiss cows.
Love Door County. Water on both sides. I have been going there since I was a kids in the early 1960s. So it has a lot of memories. The villages are so charming.
Northwoods offers so many lakes. And I love the Bayfield area too. Lake Superior is awesome.
We have biked around the Elroy Sparta area. Again a great area. Further west I love the rolling land around La Crosse.
Sorry Josh, too many favorites to pick one!

Not in order either.

Madison. without going into detail I'll say it has alot of big city qualities yet retains a bit of small city feeling.

Milwaukee
Milwaukee.
Frankly, being kind of a big-city guy, Milwaukee metro (Milwaukee and some of its surrounding suburbs) is really the only city / area in Wisconsin that highly appeals to me for living.
Milwaukee metro has its drawbacks for sure, however, is overall an outstanding city/metro and one of the more underrated ones in the US.
I have often heard that if you magically could give Milwaukee a more temperate climate, that it would be easily thought of as one of the best cities in the US, and I would agree (of course, if you magically gave it a more temperate climate, there would be a much higher influx of people, and it wouldn't be "Milwaukee" anymore).

I live in Appleton, and honestly I love living here. There is virtually no crime, the schools are great and I have a seven minute commute to work - ten with traffic; LOL!!! Green Bay isn't far at all. Milwaukee is only 90 miles and there is soooo much to do North in Door county! I love it here! I am just sooooo sick of the snow - I'm considering a move down south; but so far nothing compares to WI!
