That'll change when the cows are running for their lives or being cooked alive in the yearly California wildfire escapades. But hey, just think of all the steaks you can eat, pre-cooked!!!! As far as being "happy", you just keep telling yourself that, mmmkay?

Steve-O, what a great post. I will think of that image the next time I see the Happy Cows commercial.
And around here the cows are in the barn over winter. I saw some out the other day and it was funny to see them running around. They looked like they were enjoying it.

I think California actually produces more dairy than Wisconsin....It is bigger. However, I still think the cheese curds in Wisconsin are better than anywhere else. There is nothing like squeeky cheese curds

No need for retaliation ... 'cause everyone knows Wisconsin dairy is the best!
Their cows maybe happy, but ours are over the moon!

Latest commercial said all California cows are Gay. Guess will dry up soon as no bull in reproduction cycle to keep cows milking.

I say the cows like the forest fires.... Some kind of revenge thing. Maybe the cows are somehow setting them....
We tried our first cheese curds when we moved here last summer at the "Dog and Suds" in Tomahawk. The kids thought it was cool to eat in the car and we have all learned to appreciate cheese curds!

Great, clever posts! Wisconsin is the dairy state, no doubt about it! I like that our A&W is open all year long, too cool! Love those cheese curds, too!

Happy Cows live in WI. We have lived all over and Wisconsin has some of the best cheese we have ever tasted. And the biggest variety too. I love Colby. Vermont chese, yuck no comparison.

The California tourism ads with "Ahnuld" are annoying too... The ones that say "If you were a snowflake, where would you want to fall?". California is getting to be as bad as New York with the arrogant self-love.
