There was a bad one in Oakfield near Fond du Lac quite a few years ago that wiped out the whole town.

EF5 tornadoes are very rare and even when they do hit, it seems that the fatality rate has been pretty low because people get in the basement. Mostly mobile homes are where tornado deaths are seen.

Can't recall any where the death toll reached double digits any time in the last 30 years and the east / SE probably gets less of them.
