Hello, I Would Like Some Company In Little Rice (Tomah: home, living)

My wife and I have been slowly clearing a beautiful piece of property and working on plans for future living on Killarney Lake. I would gladly feed and satisfy the thirst of anyone interested who could meet us on our land and discuss anything relevant (or otherwise) the second or third week in August. I realize this is a bit of an oddball thread but still wonder if it's a reasonable proposition.

Yep, that's the place. I found it, though, by way of Tomahawk, where by wife's father was raised. Still plenty of her relatives around to host us warmly.

Actually, cutting and clearing a wooded area where we hope to be building a home in the next few years. We've had the property for 15 years or so and now, as we near retirement, and still have the energy to do these things ourselves, we get closer to excavation and grading.

I have many relatives in Rhinelander,where my mom grew up.

We spent a weekend in that area. What a great place. Rhinelander was a nice town. We enjoyed all the pines. I can never get enough of that smell. We want to go back this summer and explore the area more.
