What are the three things you would change about Wisconsin
If you could choose three things to change about Wisconsin what would they be? It can be anything from taxes to geography of the state. Weather? Be creative.

1) Make alcohol less central to the culture.
2) Add some mountains.
3) Reduce the summer humidity a bit.

I'd have to agree with every single thing you said.

I'm not too creative but I definitely agree with tacoma about the alcohol!
Probably when I'm here a year I'll think of something!

Wisconsin has the largest binge drinking population. Annual alcohol consumption per person, my old home is #1. New Hampshire 40 gallons per person. WI is #7 with 32 gallons consumed. NH is also #1 for beer consumption. This is according to Time magazine. It is weird because I don't drink and know many people who also don't drink. I will have a glass of wine at Christmas but otherwise I can't stand it.
My daughter hated in NH that drinking was so important in her high school. And I worked in the emergency room for a few years and I can confirm that this was a problem.

Well, the beer culture is one of the things I enjoy about Wisconsin, so what can I say. I also enjoy some of the wineries up there. That said, the "tavern culture" in some of the small towns and rural ares of hanging out in seedy little bars and drinking cheap well booze just to put on a buzz creeps me out a little, especially when you know that the only way most of these people have to get home is to hop in their car/pickup and drive home.
