2) Do you like it there? No.... taxes are way too high.... Too many lakes make for high property taxes.

4) If born out of state, how/why did you end up here. Do you like living here? N/A
5) Whats your favorite city/town in the state? Berlin, WI, where I grew up was a nice town. Nice parks, good hospital, and a nice clean town.
6) Whats your favorite region of the state? I think Northern Wisconsin has a lot of pretty places.
7) What do you like least about the state? Real Estate taxes
8) What do you like most about the state? Beautiful country lanes, great food, cheese and the many lakes.
9) Whats your favorite state park/recreation area in the state? We're older, so we don't do the swimming and boating stuff. We do go fishing in many of the lakes and love the zoo's and the parks.... Toooooo many to mention.
10) If you could move somewhere else, where would you like to go? Southern Missouri Ozarks. I'd love to get back to the small towns and a slower pace, plus the milder winters.
11) What's a major life goal for you? We're retirement age, so goals are done. We're looking for property to retire in the Ozarks.
12) What do you do for a living? This question is totally optional. Retired dairy farmer, now raising beef.
13) If you could move the Capital of Wisconsin to a different city, where? Oshkosh

2) Do you like it there? I like where I live but there are other parts of West Allis that I wouldn't like.

5) Whats your favorite city/town in the state? Wisconsin Dells, La Crosse, Green Bay, Crivitz, Three Lakes, Boulder Junction.
6) Whats your favorite region of the state? Tie: Northwoods and along the Mississippi River.
7) What do you like least about the state? Sluggish job growth, not really a booming state.
8) What do you like most about the state? The mix of urban and rural is perfect. You're never far from at least a small city and there's plenty of places to getaway to.
9) Whats your favorite state park/recreation area in the state? Tie: Wyalusing and Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.
10) If you could move somewhere else, where would you like to go? I WILL be moving west or southwest in Nov or Dec 2008.
11) What's a major life goal for you? Visit all 50 states.
12) What do you do for a living? This question is totally optional. Accounting.
13) If you could move the Capital of Wisconsin to a different city, where? Not sure, somewhere more representative of the state as a whole, maybe Wausau.

Can I play even though we don't live there anymore?? Please.. We lived there are whole lives up till 4 years ago till we moved for a job promotion. We are trying very hard to get back, the sooner the better!
1) Where in WI do you currently live? Region or city, doesnt matter. We lived in Muskego. Hubby lived there most of his life, I grew up in Wauwatosa and moved to Muskego after getting married.
2) Do you like it there? We did, but when we move back, it will be somewhere else.
3) Were you born in WI? If so, where? Milwaukee, Wisconsin

5) Whats your favorite city/town in the state? Appleton/Oshkosh areas
6) Whats your favorite region of the state? Definetly the Northern Wisconsin. It's so beautiful.
7) What do you like least about the state? Housing costs and taxes. It's what is hampering our move back. We don't want to rent, but housing is so much. It's so cheap where we are now and the taxes are too. My brother's house in Milwaukee is about the same size as ours. Our taxes here are $1500, his are almost $4,000 for the same size house/land. Comparing our house with homes there that are similar is crazy. We paid $106,000 for ours and similar homes there are $170,000 and some don't have the finished basement we do or a 2 1/2 car garage like ours. That's a huge difference. Sorry to go a little OT..
8) What do you like most about the state? The landscape for sure. Here it's just boring. Driving down the interstate here(comparing it to 41/45 there)there's nothing. Flatland.
9) Whats your favorite state park/recreation area in the state? The Zoo! I miss it. There is no zoo here and I think that's sad.
10) If you could move somewhere else, where would you like to go? Nowhere. It's Wisconsin all the way. If we one the lottery, maybe we'd get a home somewhere warm for the winter..maybe
11) What's a major life goal for you? To move back to Wisconsin and be happy. We are young and far from retirement, so this is our biggest goal right now.

5) Whats your favorite city/town in the state? Favorite is Milwaukee. Second favorite would be Dodgeville/Mineral Point area in Southwestern Wisconsin.
6) Whats your favorite region of the state? Southwest Wisco, known as the Driftless Area.
7) What do you like least about the state? A provincial mindset that pervades every city and town.
8) What do you like most about the state? The warmth and friendliness of the people who live throughout this state.

6) Whats your favorite region of the state? I love to visit northwest part of state but wouldn't want to live there. I enjoy being around the Mississippi & Wisconsin Rivers.
