Wisconsin License Plates
CD members,
If you ask me, I think Wisconsin plates are kind of bland. I liked the sesquincentenial (Spelling?) plates. I thought about maybe trying to design a new plate that has to do with a certain region of the state. Maybe one called the friends of Devils Lake or something? I see states like North Carolina and Tennessee have tons of license plates offered. Any ideas for new plates?

Scrap the America's Dairyland slogan. Except for cheese, we're not the #1 dairy state anymore. The trend in some other states is not to have a slogan. I'd like to see a design, something symbolic or just plain scenery would be fine.

Change it. I know the speciality plates are available but I would like to see a new theme every couple of years.

I think they should change on a more frequent basis, showing prairies, woods, streams, etc. Wisconsin is so diverse, change more often and show it!

Ayup! Show some color I think, Maybe something with the Northwoods, an outline of the Capitol Building, anything has got to be better. Even a Bald Eagle, since coming off of the endangered list WI has one of the higher populations of them.

How about these.
1. Wisconsin, Illinois largest State Park
2. State with most Bars & Alcohol consumption
3. Some of the highest taxes in the Nation

I'm game for new plates but I shudder to think what that would end up costing us! Seems even the simple things empty our pockets.
