Fishing Opener
Ok who went and how well you do or not do?Weather up here was cold and cloudy in morning with nice winds good walleye weather but I never went out and sun came out later but winds still up.

There were tons of guys on the local lakes around here. (Portage) I didn't go out especially in the 25 mph winds, whew! I hope we get some good fishing weather soon here.

I'm looking for a place up there that will ship lake perch. I grew up in WI, went to college an then the military. I've tried to find a place up there that will ship. My Uncle used to stop by and bring me perch on his road trips to N. Carolina, but passed away a couple years ago. I would love to be able to purchase some from local fisheries up there. Anyone know who does this?

Saturday morning started out rainy but it cleared by afternoon. Lots of people were fishing on the WI river but not catching much. Today, it is sunny and warmer.

2 of mine went fishing today so far no word if caught anything but high winds again.

My kids want to go next weekend also but we have a Search and Rescue exercise with Emergency Medical Technicians and kids are coming out to be victims also. Then Sunday being Mothers Day they have to go to their moms and I have a obligation that night for a movie shoot happening in Eau Claire.
