Whats your favorite time of year in Wisconsin? (Columbus: farm , farm)

I love Autumn here in Wisconsin but you can't beat this time of year either. Loving the wildlife (saw three nice size does bounce down the road yesterday), and all the neighbors I'm getting to meet whilst gardening and walking.

I agree about the gardening and walking spring is a good thing! Moving in late Sept. right before everyone started to hibernate for winter, I'm finally meeting more people that live around me!

I've been lucky, I've had no sinus/allergy troubles, which is unusual. Spring usually sends my sinuses into protest but then so does fall, with me it is more a barometric pressure deal. I haven't had to find an allergist here yet so that's quite good.

Knock on wood I haven't had much for allergy problems either this year. Today was beautiful. Tonight people were walking along the river and the grills were going. I just wanted to stop time for a second and look around. It seemed so serene. Spring is finally here.

Spring is good as life starts again after the long winter ll wildlife either had and bringing out or are having their young,birds building nest and flowers starting to bloom. So got to actually love all the seasons really or just would not be Wisconsin.

My favorite season is fall. As dreamhunter said, you have the bow hunting starting in the Sept, then the color change in October. We like to take a drive farther up north for a day or two just to extend the viewing of the leaves changing color. November brings gun season, enough said.

Spring is next with all the awakening of the earth. Everything is a fresh, clean and green. The ducks, geese, sandhills cranes and all the other migratory birds are back. The turkeys are gobbling early in the morning and the frogs sound like an orchestra playing next door in the evening.

Summer follows with all time we are able to spend on the lakes, fishing, swimming and just taking a long slow twight ride around the lake to enjoy the sunset.

Winter in Wisconsin, what can I say? If we could eliminate January and February I would be happy with it too.

I've got my window open and the birds are singing the sun is shining. So calm. Very nice day toda till tonight then they're calling for some nasty storms again. We had two tornadoes a week and half ago just south of town here. Other than that spring is really in full bloom.

Spring is my favorite and then winter. Summer is my least favorite. Not a fan of heat or humidity or bugs.

Winter is my favorite. Then I would say spring, fall and summer. My allergies have gone dormant since we moved here. Glad of that since I spend so much time outside. Some of my lettuce is up and radishes too. Daffodils and tulips and hycinths are all looking so pretty.

The frogs this spring wish could just sleep next to a pond would put me to sleep well.

My sister loves the night sounds and has a cd with treee frogs, never sleeps without it!

Me, I'm into the sound of waves, pretty soon I'll be opening my window and hearing them live instead of a canned version, woohoo!!!

Kate, glad that garden is doing so well! I have some flowers that are blooming but tulips not quite yet, almost!
