Default Moving to Beloit...

Hi all, I'll be moving to Beloit this summer and am looking for a real estate/rental agent to help me find an apartment. I'm not looking for anything special -- just a decent 1 or 2 bedroom apartment, near downtown, for a reasonable price. (I'll be doing a lot of searching remotely, and I haven't found any information about rentals on the internet except for apartment complexes, where I definitely don't want to live!) Or, does anyone have tips on finding apartments there? There's nothing on craigslist or in the local paper -- where do people post rentals? thanks in advance!

Hi! Congratulations on choosing Beloit, I promise you you'll never regret it! As for close to downtown, The neighborhood surrounding Beloit College is AWESOME. They are older, fixed-up homes with character. Also, this area has lot of parks, little traffic, no crime and historic churches. For Condos, Heritage View located downtown is BEAUTIFUL. I toured one of the condos and could not have been more impressed. Great views and a rich lifestyle. There are many places to rent downtown, the best place being the turtle creek apartments above the turtle creek bookstore. I'm not sure if there are anyt available, but they are really nice.

I hope you find just what you're looking for!
