In my twelve years here I have seen. An Attempted homicide, meth cookers , cuttings , folks using the street as a toilet regularly , perpetual trash piles , fist fights ( women ) , general neglect , an exotic animal zoo ..all in the two apartments across the street to my house . Sunderlund ( actually me two years ago ) speaks the truth and only the truth. For months at a time I was awakened by car stereos every night , it still happens. The overnight parking laws apparently are not enforced which encourages trouble.
This place is really nothing more than MKE , pretending to be something else.
It's cheap but gets a little bit nastier each year . But everyone to his own .

Right... your lies are so important and truthful, they have to be stated twice under two different usernames. Classy.
I've already refuted your nonsense in the Milwaukee subforum. If you really hate it that much, why not leave? There are plenty others who see and experience the village differently.
If in fact you do decide to leave, it probably won't make much of a difference. People like you get treated like the ***holes they are no matter where they reside. So I'm sure you'll be back in a few years with a yet another username telling us the same old sob story about your new location. Good luck with all that.

I just checked the stats for Brown Deer as far as crime goes. If you think BD is dangerous, then you wouldn't make it in some of Atlanta's suburbs.

I don't like it here anymore so you won't get me to say too much that is nice. lol Oh and for a 1000 sq ft house worth about 150 grand we get to pay almost 4 grand for taxes. Did I say I am not happy here? lol

Sorry to dig up the past here, but I question the judgment of someone who thinks they can paint that broad of portrait about the city and be that far off.
East of 43rd and North of Brown Deer is apartment dwellings and commercial properties, so I'm not sure what you're looking at hear. All residential housing north of Brown Deer Road wouldn't look out of place in Mequon, Menomonee Falls, Germantown, etc. South of Brown Deer Road for the most part are the smaller 3bdr "starter" houses that are more affordable, but are by no means shady.
Truthfully, the police department considers the area south of Bradley (between 43rd and 51st) to be the most at risk for property crime, not the entirety south of Brown Deer Road. And even then, it's minimal according to the crime briefs. At no place in the village are residents at risk of witnessing anything more major than shoplifting. It would be nice if we could stop pretending otherwise.
