I've met some very nice people from WI during my life. I would not mind visiting the Badger state someday too! Being that 45% of WI's population is of German ancestry I know I would love it there as I am such unabashed Germanophile!:-)

Hi Betty,
Just wanted to find out if you have ever visited Madison. A lot of things to do for families to do here. One of my favorite places is the zoo here and it is a free zoo as well, so very affordable. I also like all the bike trails here. I ride my bike on them everyday. A lot cleaner and safer here than Kenosha or Milwaukee. Too bad you don't work closer to here. I think the Madison area might have changed your mind a little more. The unemployment rate here is the lowest in the state as well. I truly wish you luck whatever you decide to do. Have a great day!!

Nah. She's too cool for all that stuff, therefore it's all boring, and therefore the whole state of Wisconsin is boring.

I havent been on here for awhile, I have been enjoying my interesting life and the beautiful warm fall Wisconsin weather. What I am is saddened to see this thread has not taken a more positive turn. I don't think there is any way any one of us will convince Betty B. that Wisconsin is not boring and that Wisconsinites in general are not all rude and insenstive beer swilling jerks.

And why bother.?? Drover was 100% correct about Ms Betty .This is a mere TROLL who got tons of attention to her dumb thread by baiting. I wish people would have just ignored her. Turns out that BETTY is the "rude and insensitive jerk"
