You know, since they started running those smug California cow commercials I now check to make sure that the cheese I buy ISN'T from California.

I read an article that California is catching up in it's dairy production. I don't like that but because California is such a big state it seems inevitable.

We always buy our cheese from one of the two local factories. It is really good. When we travel around WI we always check out other cheese factories too. Havn't had a bad cheese from WI yet.

We always make sure to buy Wisconsin cheese as well. My inlaws always give me a hard time about eating Vermont or California cheese, because they know its against my religion to do so! And the funny thing is, they LOVE WI cheese too and beg us to bring some back every time we visit. I keep telling them to watch it, if they keep pushing my buttons they wont be getting any cheese at all!

We always buy Sargento or other WI cheese...I'll never buy California cheese! BLAH!!!

I'll buy cheese from New England and even Tennessee (some excellent cheese is made at a dairy in Sweetwater Tennessee, really) but California? Never!
