Question Does Waukesha have gangs?

I saw some puzzling date about gangs in Waukesha on youtube. I don't trust everything that's posted so I'm asking for clarity. I s there a city or town close to Waukeshaw that is nice to live in without being too far away.

Depends what you mean by "far away."
Nice places near Waukesha include New Berlin, Pewaukee, Delafield, Brookfield, etc. But all will be a little more expensive than Waukesha, either to buy or rent.
Yeah, Waukesha has some gang activity, mostly Latino. But nothing like some parts of Milwaukee.
In fact, in this entire metro area, the only cities that really have *any* significant gang activity are Milwaukee and Waukesha. Virtually every other city/suburb is pretty safe. If anyone says otherwise they are exaggerating.
I work in Waukesha, and live 15-16 miles away in Milwaukee county (25-30 min. drive).

Default Gangs?

The city of Waukesha is pretty big, and sprawled out. That being said, we have some 'big city' trouble. But its trivial compared to Milwaukee. I like the diversity of Waukesha compared to some of the other areas that have very little. I have lived here for 10 years and my neighbors have been Asian, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Indian, African American, Gay, and White .
My children have friends of all races here, and that makes me smile.

I just actually made it to WI a few weeks ago and am living in Oconomowoc. I have to say that I agree with you. My kids take classes at the rec center in Waukesha and the downtown area is very nice and full of a different cultures. It's hard to get to know an area from another state, but with all of the great feedback I received from this forum I think we made the right choice in communities.
