Whats your favorite Wisconsin tourist destination?
What city or park etc. is your favorite tourist destination. By tourist I mean high volume visitors etc. I would have to say Miller Park for me. I guess that can't be too definate though.
So, what's yours?

I honestly sometimes wish WI didn't have tourist destinations. The freeways would be less congested and nature "up north" wouldn't be as commercial.
But I do have many fond childhood memories of the Dells.

I see where your coming from radraja. Some people don't like it all touristy, I don't blame them. The nice thing about living here is you don't have to go far to be off the beaten path. Growing up in Pacific, which is just outside Portage I was always hearing about the Dells. Alot of kids that I went to school with worked up there in high school. I think it was a good experience for many. I think there is still plenty of Wisconsin areas that aren't very touristy.

I like Bayfileld or anywhere on Door County. They are both on the water and offer a lot to do. Both offer islands to visit, either Madeleine Island or Washington Island. Decent places to eat and pretty scenery.

I have to say Wisconsin State Fair. My grandfather used to take me and I have wonderful memories. Now my mom, daughter and I go every year. My daughter loves it just as much as I did.

Door county is one of my favorite destinations. I could spend all summer up there and never get bored.

My absolute favorite place to visit are those northwoods counties. (Vilas, Oneida, Door, etc). I love the local culture, friendly people, excellent food, great scenery, and fantastic fishing.
