Default Restaurant in Amery

Hello:

Nearly 20something years ago I went to a wedding in Amery. There was a restaurant on the lake that looked like a dome...that served an appetizer of fried ravioli with duck filling. to quote Rachel Ray...Yum O... Does anyone know the place? do they ever publish their recipes?

I've never found a recipe for this, but have always wanted to try making it.

I grew up in Amery, but I can't recall an octagon-shaped restuarant. Which lake? If I can remember, I will run the question by my mom.

It was (at the time) a quiet little restaurant that was only accessed by boat.

Ah, Bayfield... a bit far away (3 hours, right on Lake Superior). Are you sure? If you had to take a boat, I would say it was on Madeline Island. Sound familar? I lived in Ashland for a couple years and worked in Bayfield, but this was only 8 years ago. I am trying to rack my brain for a restuarant anywhere in the area like that, but no luck. I'll keep thinking on it!
