Default Rhinelander/Newbold

Anyone out there have an opinion on the Rhinelander and Newbold areas, as far as relocating. Will be moving sometime before the end of the year and was wondering what you all thought.
Thanks in advance.

Is it me, or is everyone more dumber?

I almost grew up in Rhinelander, my dad is from there, my grandparents & our family now has a 2nd home up there, it was my grandparents. I love going up there to get away from Milwaukee, it's peaceful & if you love outdoorsy stuff like boating, fishing, etc. it can't be beat. Lots of development is happening up there which is kind of a bummer, but it still retains that North Woods feeling.

Thanks for the response karfar.
We seem to feel the same way. Love to get away to that area (in our case, from Phoenix). Over the years, we have been to the area many times in all times of the year and have always talked about someday moving there. We know traveling to vs. relocating to are 2 entirely different beasts. But after 40 years in the heat and the growth of what now has become a very unappealing "Valley of the Sun", we are ready to make the change. Trading the 110's for the -10's seems like a fair trade to us. I know "berries" would probably try to talk us out of it, but what can do?!
Thanks again for the positive comments.

Just kidding berries! Hope you have a good day.

Oh yeah, the weather change will be a beauty. Keep in mind always the snow & cold, the coldest I've ever felt in Wisconsin was when I went up to Rhinelander. Anyway, you'll enjoy it, plus it's only 4 hrs. away from Milwaukee so if you need some big-city life it's close enough.
