jarpman is on a distinguished road
Josh is right about the scarcity of employers around here, but La Crosse isn't all too far if you can find a worthwhile job there. Even though it's a little bit difficult with the price of gas right now, I live in Vernon County and commute to La Crosse for work. I feel like I have the best of both worlds in the driftless area living between La Crosse and Viroqua. There are quite a few people who live in Vernon and commute to La Crosse so it's possible to find good work and country living out here.

Default hye jarpman

just remember on the curvy roads 10 miles is 20 minutes, and there really is no pushing it or you endup off the edge!!!. In the winter 10 miles is more like 1/2 hour in snow and ice so make sure to factor this into where you select

I live in the drift less area too and I love it, I just read the heated debate between Illinois and Wisconsin, It is really to bad we all could not just get along. Job hunting has been a real down fall I wish I lived closer to some of our larger cities it would be so much easier.
